Like most of our horses, Jimull has a story.  He started off his career as a racehorse but was maybe not the best racehorse in the world.  On his way to Colonial Downs in 2010, he was involved in a trailer accident on 95.  He was the only horse that survived.  He continued on to Colonial Downs where his injuries were treated but he had some remaining PTSD and so was retired.  He went to a gentleman who really never did much with him.  In January, he was surrendered to us.  He was in good condition other than needing farrier work.  He has had a few months off and is now learning how to ride.  At this point, he walks, trots and does a slow rack.  He does canter in the pasture so it is possible to take him w/t/c or he could be encouraged to gait.  He is sound and athletic.  Although he is a little nervous in the trailer, he does trailer well.  He was a bit nervous in the stall at first but that has resolved itself.  His first outing on the trail he was forward but not spooky.  He has a walk that will eat miles in jiff.  You can speed him up into a trot or let collect him into a rack.  He did get stuck on the trail next to the barn on our first outing but I expect that will improve with time.  He did well for only his second time under saddle ever.   Adoption Fee:  Suggested Donation of $800

PS:  Yes, he looks HUGE but he is really 15.3.  I have sticked him 3 times.
